Snow skating is an alternative to regular cross-country
skiing. With snow skating you could average twice the speed that
a cross-country skier gets. Snow skating is usually done on
specially designed trails at Nordic skiing resorts. Sometimes if
conditions are just right snow skating can be done on in other areas.
